Overview
Bethink Labs (“we”, “us”) runs this website. The only personal data we collect is anonymous usage data gathered through Google Analytics; we do not have accounts, sign-ups, or contact forms that store your details.
This policy explains what that usage data is, why we collect it, and how you can opt out. It applies to this website only, not to third-party sites we link to.
What we collect
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. Google Analytics collects:
- Pages you visit, how long you stay, and the links you click
- How you arrived here (search engine, referring site, or direct)
- Approximate location (city or region), derived from your IP address
- Device type, browser, operating system, screen size, and language
- A random identifier stored in a cookie so repeat visits can be counted
Google Analytics does not tell us who you are. We do not see your name, email address, or full IP address, and we do not combine analytics data with any other information about you.
How we use it
We use analytics data only to see which pages are useful, find broken or confusing parts of the site, and decide what to improve. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or selling to anyone.
Cookies and how to opt out
Google Analytics sets a small number of cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) in your browser to recognize repeat visits. These are the only cookies this site uses.
You can opt out in any of these ways:
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which stops Google Analytics on every site
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works normally without them
- Use a browser or extension that blocks trackers
If you clear your cookies, Google Analytics will treat your next visit as a new visitor.
Who we share data with
Analytics data is processed by Google LLC on our behalf and stored on Google’s servers, which may be outside your country. Google’s handling of this data is described in Google’s Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share analytics data with anyone else, except if required by law.
Data retention
Google Analytics keeps visitor-level data for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically. Aggregated reports (page views per month, for example) contain no individual data and may be kept longer.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Because analytics data is anonymous, we usually cannot link it to you; the most effective way to exercise these rights is to opt out as described above.

Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we add new tracking or change how we use data, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
